AYLA held its second Trial Institute on June 27 in the ceremonial courtroom at the Travis County Civil & Family Courts Facility. Austin trial lawyers gathered to earn a full day of MCLE credit by learning the nuts-and-bolts of civil trial from a fabulous slate of seasoned trial lawyers and judges.
Attendees gained valuable insight on the goals and mechanics of each piece of trial, including pretrial procedures, opening statements, direct and cross examinations, and closing arguments. The programming also covered topics like voir dire, the jury charge, and key evidence tips.
