The Austin Bar Association was chosen as the best CLE provider in Austin by Texas Lawyer for 2026.
The recognition was based on a poll conducted by Texas Lawyer of its readers, who ranked the Austin Bar as the No. 1 CLE provider in Austin.
The Austin Bar previously received this award in 2023 and 2025.
“We’re very grateful to Texas Lawyer for this distinct recognition,” said Austin Bar Executive Director DeLaine Ward. “Most of all, we’re grateful to our wonderful members, who spread the word that the Austin Bar is the premier legal association and CLE provider in Austin.”
Continuing Legal Education at the Austin Bar
The Austin Bar Association has been providing legal education and networking opportunities to the Austin legal community since 1893.
The Austin Bar presents large-scale, full-day CLE programs such as the annual Bench Bar Conference and Equity Summit, as well as more frequent one-hour lunchtime CLEs.
Our sections also put on their own CLEs with the Austin Bar’s assistance.
Among our 29 sections are:

- Entertainment & Sports
- Privacy Law, our newest section
Each section plans and presents its own CLE programming. Most CLEs offer an online or in-person option, and many in-person programs are conveniently located downtown.
